Job Description

Quantum Services is currently hiring a full-time Inventory Audit Supervisor in the Roanoke area. Quantum Services is a nationwide inventory service that specializes in auditing physical inventory in the convenience store industry. Qualified candidates are invited to join our team. A typical audit is usually performed with one auditor working alone. The Inventory Audit Supervisor travels daily to stores within the area to conduct physical inventories of the stores’ merchandise utilizing a hand held calculator and/or scanner.

A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are a must for driving to our client's locations within a 60 mile radius of Roanoke. Experience is also preferred in counting physical inventory, customer service, and/or retail.

AUDIT SUPERVISOR DUTIES:

  • Count all merchandise utilizing inventory equipment.
  • Follow the audit process at each audit.
  • Master QIC and upload functions.
  • Learn best practices for accuracy and productivity.
  • Interact with store personnel with positive customer service attitude.
  • Learn and understand each I CARE value.
  • Be an effective team player.
  • Work independently with little supervision.
  • Work in both inside and outside environments.
  • Perform multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year inventory auditing experience or one year of retail experience or convenience store management experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and able to conduct basic research.
  • Must have a valid driver license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
  • Must have reliable transportation to perform audits throughout the area.
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities described above.
  • Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.
  • Maintains a positive team attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
